Some Final Chores Before the Big Game

This week's forecast: Sunny, with a chance of butt-kicking

With our first game approaching this week, we've got a little business to take care of.

First, our final team softball fee is now $375. Thanks to Arkansas Business Publishing Group, we're able to kick in $115 from our softball budget to offset some costs. So based on a team roster of 19 players, we need a check for $14 from everybody if you're going to play.

Please get me a check, made out to Arkansas Business Publishing Group, for $14 by Monday.

We're still working on getting new jerseys. We might not have them for these week's game, but we'll definitely have them for the next, which takes place May 13th at 9 a.m. vs. the kind folks at Equity Broadcasting. T-shirts are coming in on trade, so no cost to players!

So please get me your checks ASAP, and let's start looking ahead to Saturday's 10 a.m. season opener vs. Clear Channel/Fox 16!

Finally: I need to hear from everyone of you by Thursday if you're going to play this weekend. This will give me ample time to make up the roster. Shoot me an e-mail, please.
