Another Win, Plus Tourney Schedule

Congrats to the Newshounds, who turned in another great performance on Saturday during a makeup game with Clear Channel. The Newshounds offense held on to beat the Clear Channel team 10-9, ensuring a No. 3 seed in the tournament on July 8-9.

The tournament layout will be put up at the ball park, but if you need to see what your draw looks like, just let me know and I'll send you a breakdown of your teams draw.

This will be a very strong tournament for each team if your people have set up their schedules right. A lot of fun and good competition. Remember if you lose one game it's not over! Your team could still come back through the loser bracket and make it back to play in the championship. There will be plenty of food on hand Saturday for players and family. Yes we'll have drinks too.

Tom faxed us tournament bracket, so I'll distribute that to you guys Tuesday. Meanwhile, we're considering an after-work practice for sometime this week. More on that soon!
