Newshounds Get a Break

Just as Elana predicted, our game this Saturday versus the Clear Channel folks has been postponed. Media League Commissioner Tom Jones explains:
Some more changes for this Saturday. Do to the special event going on at War Memorial for the troops Clear channel and Ar Business game is getting moved to June 18 rain out date. With this said, the first game will be at 9:00 am instead of 8:00.

8:00 NO GAME
9:00 Dem Bums vs Citadel
10:00 Equity vs KATV 7
11:00 KARK 4 vs Got Paper?
12:00 KTHV 11 Vs Archway

Hope that these changes help each of the teams.

So, once again, the Newshounds WILL NOT play this Saturday. We have a much-needed week off. Instead, we'll play June 18, a day reservered for rescheduling rain-outs.

So enjoy the week off and get some rest!

And note that on our schedule, the week after this week was the schedule off day for the entire league. That off day is also known as "Memorial Day Weekend."

So the Newshounds have two weeks off the field. Some of us might need to get together at some point for a practice to keep us sharp ...
