SuperGirl kicks back after Saturday's nail-biter

We mentioned our valiant mascot for game one, but have thus far neglected to point out last week's good luck charm, that scrappy little pup called SuperGirl. SuperGirl and mom Angel made it out to the ballpark last Saturday and were treated to some riveting softball between the now-undefeated Newshounds (2-0) and the Equity Broadcasting team (1-1).

Even when the Newshounds had some subpar innings and Equity threatened to ruin the party, SuperGirl's enthusiasm never waivered. For that, she was an inspiration to us all -- a true Newshound.

So here's to SuperGirl and, from the previous week, our equally spunky little canine pal Mikey, for coming out to support the home team!
