Team members and fans should check here regularly for announcements about the No. 1 media league softball team! Througout the year, will post pictures and results from our games.

This year's Media Softball League is sponsored by the good folks at Golden Corral, now in its third decade of giving church-goers a place to eat on Sunday afternoons! They'll provide a big end-of-the-year party for us, no doubt stocked with all the chicken strips and biscuits you can stand.

Here's some basic rules and facts about the league:

1. Each team must provide their own balls for the games. Any 44 core ball is allowed. The leagues uses mens softballs only.

2. Each team should have 3 woman on the roster per game. You can still play with only 2 women, but when you take the field you can only play with 9 people (3 outfielders). And the 11th batting spot in the order is an automatic out.

3. There will be no handicap on the teams.

4. All ASA approved bats are legal.

5. If for any reason someone gets completely out of line with profanity toward another team or player, that person will be tossed out of the game, the team will forfeit the game, and the person will not be able to play in the next game.

6. The Golden Corral will have a list of women who can play if a team needs an extra woman.

7. The end of the season tournament will be a double elimination format. Be ready to be there and play all day. The title game will finish under the lights!
